Cost is $3.00 for the meal, except for the Dutch oven meal in September that costs $5.00.

Please remember to call Sarah by Tuesday for reservations, unless you signed up on the Wednesday before. This allows us to be certain that enough food will be prepared.

Sarah Kent

Diane Haslam has resigned as director for the senior community activity after serving us for 15 years.  Diane did a wonderful job of organizing and overseeing the almost weekly meals and entertainment for our community. Sarah Kent has stepped into those mighty shoes. Since taking over, Sarah has been doinga great job as the Smithfield senior community diretor and we are looking forward to continuing to work with her. Thankfully, Diane continues to help in the kitchen and offer advice to Sarah in the transition period.

Diane and RoseMary prepare the lunch.

Some seniors enjoy the Bingo games held after the meal on the first Wednesday of the month.  Admission fee is a white elephant gift to go into the prize pool.

There is a foot clinic from 10:00 - 11:30 on the second Wednesday of every month, including the summer months. Time slots must be reserved for the foot clinic.

Entertainment begins after the meal and may be a featured singer or singing group, a presentation including health tips from a local caregiver group, or a readers theater featuring local talent.
