First, a bit of philosophy, experience or an observation about life. Life is a lot like photography. You do a lot of livin' but there are only 20 or 30 occurrences that really stand out, just like out of a whole roll of film, there are only one or two real keepers. The keepers are the ones with people, whether we're talkin' memories or pictures, that you will want in 10 or 20 years.
The best equipment in the world doesn't mean anything if you can't share the results with somebody that cares about you more than the equipment. By the same token, you've got to have the right film in the camera to take that perfect picture and you have to have the right mental film (attitude) to record that perfect memory. Keep you camera and your mind ready.
Enough of my homespun thoughts. Let's look at some pictures:
| I wanted to show a picture of all 20 or so of our descendants,
but we can never get them all to stand still long enough. Instead, here's
some other pictures.
