This is the site of the final stages of the battle for the island group. On the right side, off the picture is the Nuuanu Valley. On the left, where the guide is pointing is the pali where so many brave warriors plunged to their death. In the background is the Northern wall of the valley that hemmed in the forces of Kahekili.
