Every family has a tree
Within this box, Yours you'll see,
First we start with the Country two
Who then will become a large group,
with seven kids it all began,
if dad knew, he would have ran,
All the kids,
On the world they left their mark,
Now there's twelve grandkids in all
A moment here is never dull
Some have come and some have gone
But in our hearts we're forever fond.
Now it's Christmas of '98
So please let's not hesitate
to add one more to this tree
and that one will come from me

Van and I will say "I DO!!!"
Birthday marriages seem to last
So in your footsteps we will cast
Promising to love forever
through good and bad we will endeavour,
So every year at Christmas time
When you look at that tree of pine
Remember the love these ornaments bring
and the sparkling engagement ring.
